Monson Offshore was established in 2008 to meet the growing demand for offshore agency services within Monson Agencies Australia, a general shipping agent founded by Dale Monson in 1981 to service tramp and liner bulk carriers and tankers.
The offshore component of the business started with a single client and approximately 15 port calls a year. It now represents 12 clients with a total of 40 vessels making regular port calls every month.
In 2014, Monson Offshore acquired NT Shipping Agencies, a successful Australian company with a focus on looking after seismic vessels. Together we have a greater capacity to deliver value to the shipping industry due to our strengthened capabilities, resources and experience.
Monson Offshore has offices based in five major port locations around Australia as well as in New Zealand and Singapore. Under the leadership of Managing Director Dale Monson, our committed staff deliver first class, personalised service on every level.
